Employee awardfor Trust’s Andy

Andy Driver was nominated by one of his colleagues for his “helpful and conscientious approach to work.”

After receiving his award, Andy said: “It’s very exciting to have received the employee of the months award for July.

“Everybody I work with is brilliant and have made my job a lot easier. I felt like I was just doing what is expected of me and what anybody else would have done, so it’s really nice of somebody thinks that is worthy of an award.

Kevin McGee, chief executive at the Trust, presented Andy with his award at Royal Blackburn Hospital and congratulated him, saying: “The Employee of the month award gives all staff the opportunity to nominate the people they work with who go the extra mile in their role and dealing with patients and staff.”
