The announcement comes after another hugely successful run of UK appearances. Loomis earned plaudits for his performance at the Whitby Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival, where he earned what festival organisers described as "the biggest standing ovation of the entire weekend."

Loomis’ sound blends elements of soul, funk, rock and rhythm & blues into a thrilling, high-energy performance and comes from an artist who has been immersed in music since his childhood. Proficient at playing piano, harmonica, drums, bass and guitar, he began writing his own material by the age of 14 and before he was 18, he’d performed in front of thousands at the Delta Blues Festival. The rest is history, as they say.

His debut album, ‘Hamilton’, received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album, launching a career that has steadily gathered international acclaim. Texas legends Johnny Copeland, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Albert Collins and Joe "Guitar" Hughes all took the young musician under their wing, recognising not only his extraordinary talent but also his deep respect for the music's heritage. However, the defining moment of his career came after a chance encounter with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame legend Bo Diddley.

After meeting Diddley backstage before a set, Loomis was invited to join Diddley on stage and subsequently that chance meeting evolved into friendship and a mentorship that helped shape Hamilton’s musical philosophy. Diddley later made an appearance on Loomis’ album ‘Ain't Just Temporary’, featuring as a guest guitarist and vocalist on the track ‘You Got To Wait’. His appearance proved to be one of Diddley’s final collaborations before his passing and the record went on to reach No. 7 on the Billboard Blues Albums Chart.

Backed by an exceptional backing band, Loomis’ performances are delivered with sheer musical excellence, audience interaction, humour and energy, and his performance at Barnoldswick’s Music & Arts Centre provides the opportunity to see him shine in one of the UK’s most intimate listening rooms.
