Ed Balls visits Nelson firm
Labour’s Shadow Chancellor, Ed Balls MP, has visited a Nelson firm this afternoon to tour the business and chat to staff.
The leading Shadow Cabinet figure accompanied Labour’s Pendle parliamentary
candidate County Coun. Azhar Ali to Nelson Packaging, which produces plastic bags at its factory in Townsley Street.

Hide AdMr Balls talked to both bosses and workers there, particularly discussing issues regarding the industry, with Nelson Packaging’s boss, Michael Flynn, saying: “It’s been very good to take him around our factory.”
