Driver admits causing death of Barnoldswick cyclist

CHESHIRE man Andrew Edwards (47), of Bagshaw Street, Hyde, has today pleaded guilty to causing death by driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after an accident at Burnley Crown Court. He will be sentenced on July 4th.

The incident happened on the morning of November 22nd when police were called to reports of a man found at the side of the road next to his pedal cycle in Kelbrook Road, Salterforth.

Michael Isherwood (36), from Barnoldswick, was airlifted through to Royal Blackburn Hospital but died from his injuries.
