Cyclist raises £1,300 for Pendleside Hospice
A Burnley cyclist who rode to work every day for a year has raised more than £1,300 for Pendleside Hospice.
Karl Bradshaw cycled to Aircelle and back for the whole of 2015, covering 2,700 miles.
Karl said: “Not much of a challenge you may say, but I live two miles from work and the easiest thing for me to have done on a cold, wet windy morning would be to take the short route or get in the car.
“My challenge took me up and over Crown Point down Bacup and Burnley road dropping down into Cliviger.”
