‘Crimewatch’ appeal to find man wanted after Burnley rape

AN appeal to find a man wanted in connection with a rape in Burnley has been made on the BBC’s Crimewatch.

Fakhar Zaman (39) is wanted in connection with the rape of a woman in Burnley in November 2009.

Zaman has links to Manchester and uses the alias Cheema Nalaz. He may well be working in a restaurant or takeaway.

The appearance on Crimewacth comes after repeated appeals by police in Burnley.

Zaman should have answered his bail at Burnley Police Station on February 12th, 2010, but did not attend.
