Police want to trace several men involved in 'violent fight' at Burnley pub during Newcastle United match

Northumbria Police are looking to speak to a number of Newcastle United fans after a “violent fight” in a Burnley pub during the club's Premier League match against the Clarets.

The incident took place at The Turf Hotel after a number of Newcastle fans are believed to have left Turf Moor at half-time.

At around 4-25pm on Saturday, December 14th a number of Newcastle fans became involved in a large fight with other publicans.

Dozens of people are believed to have been involved and six men have already been arrested by police.

Officers are now looking to identify nine men, believed to be Newcastle fans.
