Police urge Burnley public to remain vigilant after thieves target estate

Police are warning homeowners to be on their guard after an attempted break-in on a Burnley estate.

The incident was reported on Tuesday, when between midnight and 8am an unknown person removed a fence panel at the rear of a property in Lower Manor Lane before trying to get into a shed.

PCSO Dave Cozens said: "If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time it happened or you have any information which could help us please give us a call on 101 quoting log reference LC-20210331-1498.
