Police pledge to target criminals after two men arrested in Burnley and Nelson and drugs seized

Two men were arrested yesterday, in Burnley and Nelson, in connection to drugs offences.

Officers from the Burnley Taskforce arrested a 25 year old man after a large quantity of drugs were discovered at an address in the Gannow Lane area. The male is currently in police custody.

In Nelson a man was arrested in Leeds Road on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Officers searched the man and found him to be in possession of suspected Class A drugs. After his home was searched officers seized more drugs, drugs' packaging, phones, scales and cash.

Police have pledged to continue to target criminals involved in the supply of drugs.
