Police hunt duo after elderly woman is robbed of £700
Police have released CCTV images of the duo who they would like to speak to after an elderly woman had hundreds of pounds stolen from her bank account in Nelson.
The incident happened between 12.30pm and 1.00pm on Tuesday, March 7th, when an 84-year-old woman used a cash machine inside Barclays Bank on Manchester Road.

Hide AdShe was spotted by a man and woman who pretended to stand in the queue while the man observed her entering her PIN number.
They then followed the woman to Age UK on Market Street where the victim realised that her purse had been stolen. Moments later the man is thought to have gone back into the bank and used the card to withdraw around £700 in cash.
PC Leah Crabtree of Nelson Police said: “This was a callous theft from an elderly victim and we are keen to speak to the man and woman pictured in the CCTV images in connection with our enquiries.
"If anyone recognises them or has any information that could help to identify them I would urge them to get in touch with us.”
