Police called out after revellers light fireworks on cricket ground in Burnley

Police have reprimanded the culprits who used a cricket ground in Burnley for their 'own personal firework show' last night.

Police were called after a selection of discarded fireworks were found at Burnley Cricket Club in Belvedere Road last night.

Officers were also on patrol in St Matthew Street and Scott Park Road after receiving numerous reports of taxis being damaged.
