A persistent Burnley town centre shoplifter has been issued a 12-week custodial sentence.

Moazam Ali, of Leyland Road, was given the sentence after breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order four times.

Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing and Response teams gathered evidence and arrested Ali for all four breaches.
