Overnight dispersal order for Burnley neighbourhood after youths wreak havoc
One arrest was made as police put in place a dispersal order to combat anti-social behaviour on the outskirts of Burnley town centre.
The order, which covered the Woodbine Road area between 11pm and 4am, allowed for police to direct a person to leave the area if they had reasonable grounds to suspect that their behaviour has caused, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to members of the public.
It was authorised in response to a number of youths fighting and causing damage to people's homes and cars.
