Neighbourhood police uncover cannabis farm in Nelson

Officers from the Neighbourhood team disrupted the operation of a drugs gang targeting vulnerable people on Wednesday.

Neighbourhood officers PC Hill and PCSO’s Waterworth and Clowes checked out a property in which a cannabis farm was discovered.

PC Hill said: “What looks to some like a ‘bit of cannabis’, often has an entire organised crime group behind it.

"You can report any suspicious activity online, or via 101, or anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
