Police have thanked the public for their help after they appealed for information in relation to an allegation of racial abuse following the Burnley vs. Olympiacos fixture at Turf Moor in August.

Burnley and Padiham Police have been contacted by someone who believes he could be the man in CCTV images released in relation to the incident on Thursday, August 30th.

Police have confirmed they will be speaking to the man in due course.
