Burnley magistrates were told how Mark Anthony Tomlinson (32) co-operated with police and the haul was recovered.

The defendant, of Kime Street, Burnley, admitted theft of eight items of clothing, belonging to Peacocks, in the town on October 11th. The hearing was told he had self-referred to Inspire, the drink and drugs treatment service.

Tomlinson was given an 18-month conditional discharge and was told to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
