A man has been arrested following the discovery of drugs inside a house in Nelson.

Police raided a property in Regent Street this morning (Tuesday) following tip-offs from the community and as part of Operation Sceptre, a nationwide initiative relaunched this week in a bid to raise awareness around weapons, specifically knives and blades.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and failure to appear at court.
He currently remains in custody.
