Burnley man jailed after being caught with a pair of wire strippers
A 29-year-old man found with a pair of wire strippers has been jailed for six weeks.
Dale Watts was told by Burnley magistrates they were imposing custody because the offence was serious, he had a record and he had failed to comply with previous court orders.
The defendant, of Ightenhill Park Lane, Burnley, admitted going equipped for theft and possessing cannabis, last August 15th.
He was ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge.
