Banned driver arrested after police car chase
Police have arrested and charged a teenager in Padiham with driving while disqualified.
Officers on patrol in the Beech Street area of the town spotted Reece Murgatroyd (19) driving a Peugeot 307 towards Dryden Street and identified him as being disqualified.
The car failed to stop and continued to drive in an inconsiderate manner along Stockbridge Road. It was then found abandoned close to Russell Terrace.
Officers later arrested Murgatroyd at home and charged with failing to stop, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and driving without due care and attention
