Crews extinguish Padiham allotment shed blaze
Two fire engines and crews from Burnley were called to a fire that had broken out at an allotment off Hargrove Avenue yesterday just after 5pm.
A shed measuring 30 metres by 20 metres was on fire.
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: "Firefighters used two hosereel jets to extinguish the fire, the cause of which is to be established. There were no casualties."
