Court: man denies hurling ashtray at partner
A man appeared before Burnley magistrates, accused of assaulting his partner by throwing an ashtray at her.
Denis Lucka (28), of Belford Street, Burnley, denied assaulting Audrey Hamid-Taha by beating, in October.
He will face trial on December 10th and was bailed on condition he lives in Manchester, observes a curfew between 7pm and 7am, does not contact the alleged victim and does not enter Burnley.
