Despite an appeal earlier this week, police have been unable to locate him and have released a new image as part of theirr search.

Mr Miah is believed to be in the Burnley area or could have travelled on to the West Midlands.

PC 6478 Cat Horner from Burnley Police said: “We, along with Mr Miah’s family are getting increasingly concerned for his welfare, especially as it’s now 11 days since he was seen and because he essentially discharged himself from hospital when he may have required further treatment.

“If you have seen him, or know of his whereabouts, please get in touch.

He was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a grey t-shirt and black trainers.
