Colne farmer in court on £20,000 cannabis charge
A Colne farmer has appeared in court, accused of growing cannabis to the potential tune of almost £20,000 at his premises.

John Leslie Allison, 69, of Hubbs House Farm, Southfield Lane, is charged with producing the Class B controlled drug on February 4, this year.
The hearing, at Burnley Magistrates’ Court, was told 35 plants, with could potentially have produced cannabis worth £19,000, were said to have been found at the farm.

Hide AdDistrict Judge James Clarke directed the case be heard at the crown court and Allison was unconditionally bailed until a preliminary hearing on July 27.
