Clitheroe Bike Club to host open evening for cycling enthusiasts
Clitheroe Bike Club is set to host an open evening at the Old School Rooms in Clitheroe and has issued a call to all enthusiastic bicycle riders to attend the event. Here’s everything you need to know.
The event will start at 7pm at the Old Schools Rooms tomorrow night (April, 9th, 2026) and will offer cyclists with the chance to socialise, sample some home-made cake and provide the opportunity to buy and sell/recycle good quality, pre-loved cycle kit. The event will also provide keen cyclists with the chance to purchase the bike club’s new kit and other pieces of merchandise.
The group organises group road rides, ranging from rides that suit riders who prefer a relaxed, social ride and rides that are designed to help boost a rider’s speed and endurance. One of the bike club’s most recent trips saw them spend a week riding in the stunning Spanish countryside in the Denia area.
Clitheroe Bike Club also runs weekly rides planned by different members and organise social events such as quiz nights, factory visits, awards evenings, track days and weekend trips away on a regular basis.
