Christmas lights switch-on set to be festival highlight

The UK Spectre Squad will take the Burnley Christmas Festival by storm when they star in the Christmas lights switch-on.

The town will hold a Christmas Festival from November 19th to December 10th with a range of festive events, including the big switch-on show on Sunday November 20th at 5pm.

It will feature It’s My Party and an appearance by UK Spectre Squad, shadowtroopers in Star Wars, followed by a fantastic firework display.

There will be a all kinds of Christmas events at Charter Walk including an Ice Sculpture Trail and live carving wall on Saturday, November 19th with 10 festive ice sculptures around the town centre and a trail to follow to be in with a chance of winning vouchers.

Burnley Youth Theatre will preview their Christmas Wizard of Oz show on Sunday, November 20th from 2-30pm.

There will be a Christmas market as well as Santa’s Big Gift Giveaway on November 26th and a Reindeer Parade and meet Father Christmas on November 27th.
