Staff, volunteers and day therapy patients at Pendleside Hospice have been getting in the festive spirit by taking part in Christmas Jumper Day. The campaign runs throughout the whole of December and anyone can take part.

The hospice is encouraging people to wear a Christmas jumper to raise some much needed funds. Businesses, schools and social groups can take part by asking people to donate £1 to wear their jumper or £2 if they don’t!

Sammi Bracewell, fundraiser for Pendleside Hospice, said; “Christmas Jumper Day is such a fun and easy way for people to support their local hospice this Christmas. All they need to do is wear their festive jumper!

“We can provide any fundraising material people may need such as: sponsor forms, posters, collecting buckets/tubs, hospice t-shirts etc. We hope plenty of people will get involved and would love to see peoples photos on our Facebook page”.
