“I am a Burnley fan and a good friend Peter Briggs came up with the idea of a memorial garden so this seemed the right charity to do it for,” said Daryl.

Clarets fan Peter has been the driving force behind the community scheme that will see private land near the Jimmy McIlroy stand transformed into an area of tranquillity and for scattering ashes.

The Prairie Pitch has been booked from 12-2pm for the match. The group has received a £1,000 donation from B&M Engineering and a trophy donated by Dream Clean.
