The images were released by Lancashire police following a spate of shoplifting offences across the county in the run-up to Christmas.

The man pictured at the sandwich shelf is captured on CCTV in the Co-op supermarket in Brierfield at 1-25 p.m. on December 14th, where he picked up a pack of sandwiches and left the store without paying for them.

The images of the other man are both taken from CCTV footage at the Spar shop in Netherfield Road, Nelson, at the end of November.

On the first occasion on November 26th, he entered the store on two occasions, between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and took items without paying, repeating the offence at 9-55 p.m. two days later, when he removed four cans of Tennents super strength beer from the shop.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 472634.
