The pupils, along with tutor Claire Hartley, held a cake sale and opened a sweet stall for Valentine’s Day at the college as well as carrying out a bag pack at Tesco in Burnley in recent months, all in the name of the hospice.

A grand total of £516.50 was raised through their efforts, with Joanne Moseley, who works in the fundraising department at Pendleside, saying: “The students have been a great help with our fundraising.”
