Car wash helps raise cash for Pendleside Hospice
Bobbie McCaigue and her friends worked flat out at Colne Tyre Centre during a fund-raiser for Pendleside Hopsice.
The car wash event at the Bridge Street centre attracted a lot of interest which helped to inflate the total raised to £378.
Bobbie said: “I wanted to fund-raise in support of my mum Julie who has received care at Pendleside.
“I can’t believe we raised so much money, I only felt like I had washed 10 cars but it must have been around 50. It was good fun and the staff at Colne Tyre Centre were great.”
