Burnley woman saves life of mum and daughter in house blaze
At 9-15 p.m. on March 23rd last year crew manager Rosie Moorhouse answered a 999 call from a woman living at an address in Blackpool.
The fire raged in the living room and the woman and daughter were trapped upstairs, but Rosie’s advice to stay put, shutting the door of the room and keeping smoke out by stuffing bedding at the foot of the door, together with her reassurance that firefighters were on their way ensured the pair were rescued unharmed.
