Burnley Topshop store to close

The Burnley Express understands that the women’s fashion retailer, located at the Mall in Burnley’s Charter Walk shopping centre, will close on Saturday, October 4th.

The store employs around 16 full and part-time staff who are hoping to be found roles in other local stores.

Topshop’s closure will be a blow to Charter Walk following the loss of other high street names from Burnley including Evans earlier this year.

One fashion retailer however, Peacocks, returned to the town yesterday.
