A Dementia Action Alliance, which will focus on increasing awareness of dementia and improving access to services for people affected, has been launched in the town.

The alliance, which brings together Burnley Council, the county council, the Alzheimer’s Society, businesses and the community groups, will organise local events and promote activities available.

It will also work with other partners to encourage more businesses to join the scheme. For more information ring Rob Dobson at Burnley Council on 01282 425011 ext3115.
