Burnley General Hospital and Royal Blackburn Hospital car park charges rise
HOSPITAL car parking charges are going up.
The new fees come into force on Sunday and will see visitors and patients charged an extra 10p for parking up to eight hours at Royal Blackburn Hospital and Burnley General Hospital.
The new prices are: 0 - 3 hours £1.90; 3 - 8 hours £2.80; 8 - 24 hours £3.50 (a rise of 20p). Car parking charges are set by the PFI contractor and the last increase in charges was in 2007.
