Burnley dance crew beat international rivals

A dance crew from Burnley have finished seventh the U18 intermediate final at the UDO World Street Dance Championships in Glasgow.

Street dance crew Fierce, which consists of 11 youngsters aged between 10 and 14, competed against dancers from 29 different countries at the three-day event.

The groups choreographer Lorna Digger, said: “After qualifying for the event and plenty of intense training we went up against 23 teams from around Britain and different countries.

“After two days of dancing and hours of waiting for the results, we found out we got into the final 13.

“After more training in Glasgow we came in seventh place in the under 18 intermediate final.”
