Burnley ‘Come Dine With Me’ star Mark cooks for charity

Come dine with us and help raise money is the plea from young apprentices who have recruited a Burnley TV reality star to make their own dreams reality.

Team Inspira, a group of apprentices from Burnley Council, has reached the national final of the Brathay Challenge.

The team is supporting Food Bank East Lancashire as part of the challenge and has called in help from Mark Dempsey, a recent winner of Come Dine With Me, to assist their Food Fiesta.

A temporary kitchen on the stage at Burnley Mechanics Theatre will see Mark cook the same menu he did on his recent TV appearance.

Tickets cost £2 from Burnley Town Hall for the show on Wednesday June 5th.

The apprentices have so far collected more than £1,000 worth of food and delivered items to more than 130 needy families across the borough.
