The event, which featured music and food from the 1960s, raised £600 for various charities including children's charities and Pendleside Hospice.

Music and food from the decade was the theme of a 60’s night held at Burnley’s St Stephen’s Church which raised £600.

Organised by Keith Pounder and the events team from St Stephen’s, guests were in 1960’s fancy dress and the retro buffet was laid on by Linda Pounder and her team.

The Badger Sett were on stage playing some favourite hits from the decade.

Each year the church donates to various charities and 2025/6 has resulted in St Stephen’s donating around £6,000 to worthy causes including children’s charities, Pendleside Hospice, Christian’s against poverty (CAP) and AGE UK Lancashire.

Plans are now being made for the church Christmas fair in November.
