Burnley and Pendle vigil after Pakistan terrorist attack
A vigil candle remembrance was lit in Brierfield People’s Centre, organised by the Friends League.
Along there were the Rev. Phillip Ingram from the town’s Living Hope Church, Pendle Deputy Mayor Coun. Nawaz Ahmed, Mozakir Ali, and Coun. Abdul Aziz along with lots of members of the Friends League.
So they held their memorial in remembrance of the victims sadly killed, especially all the children who were mainly victims.
Mr Saghir Ahmed, who is chairman of the Friends League, said: “We were very shocked to hear about all the deaths, so we decided to have the event in memory of all the children and the others – the staff at the school who also died.
“We were pleased to have our visitors including the MP there for the event.”
