Burlesque singer wows will.i.am on The Voice

Her adaptation of Paloma Faith’s “Stone Cold Sober” had all four judges on the edge of their seats, with will.i.am turning around on her final note.

Now Kiki has shared her excitement at being a part of such a high-profile programme, thanking everybody who has shown her support so far.

She hopes to raise awareness of Derian House, Chorley, where her terminally ill son Dexter was supported until his death in 2007. He was just four weeks old, having been diagnosed with the rare congenital disorder Zellweger syndrome.

Kiki, a parent ambassador for the charity, will also work closely with Together For Short Lives, who help children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.

The performer, who is currently getting a house built in Cemetery Road, Earby, said: “This is a fantastic part of the healing process for me, and it is really important I can help raise awareness.”
