Blessed Trinity's crack new anti-bullying team

The ambassadors - Year Seven-10 pupils who showed an interest in tackling bullying - are led by Senior Ambassadors, Year 10s Madison Horne and Aaron Walker.

“The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors have attended a training day at Matthew Moss High School in Rochdale run by the Diana Award Team,” said teacher Alex Isherwood.

“Their roles are to create a student-led approach to anti-bullying,” he added. “They will meet with the Senior Leadership Team [to] put forward plans to tackle any potential bullying, although we’re hoping they don’t have to use their new-found skills.

“The best way to tackle problems is to plan for them,” Mr Isherwood continued. “We hope to preempt issues by having the ambassadors as highly visible leaders in our school.”
