Bereavement charity appeals for volunteers
The charity was founded to support women and children who had lost their husbands and fathers. Today Cruse helps a wide range of men, women and children as they come to terms with their emotions stemming from the death of a loved one.
At present Cruse is much in demand and constantly looking for new volunteers to join its hard-working local teams. If you are interested in becoming involved with Cruse Bereavement Care Lancashire, a new “Awareness in Bereavement Care” course will begin in February. The course will be held over nine Saturdays at The Women’s Centre, in Accrington, close to Junction 7 of the M65, and is open to anyone who would like to become a volunteer.
