Appeal for missing Burnley teen

Police are appealing for information about a teenager who is missing from home in Burnley.

Cane Gorton, 15, was last seen at 6pm on Tuesday 28 October 2014 at an address on Girvan Grove in Burnley.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 1in tall, slim build with short light brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey Adidas zip up top, black tracksuit bottoms and a grey chequered cap.

Inspector Ilyas Mohmed of Burnley Police said: “Cane has been missing for over a week now and we are becoming increasingly concerned about him. We believe he may be in the Stoops area and if anybody has any information about where he might be I would urge them to contact us. Similarly, if Cane sees this appeal, I would urge him to get in touch to let us know he is safe.”
