Accident forces M65 closure
Rush hour traffic heading into Burnley was held up this morning following an accident at junction 11 of the M65.
A collision between a lorry and a car caused delays for westbound traffic for around half an hour, causing tailbacks towards the Brierfield interchange.
The car is reported to have spun and ended up next to the central reservation.
Eastbound traffic past the scene was also held up as drivers slowed down to look at the incident.
The motorway was reopened by 8-45am.
