10th annual Pendle Beer Festival opens

The 10th annual Pendle Beer Festival opened last night (Thursday) - aiming to sell 12,000 pints in 30 hours of trading.
Organiser Martyn Pashley once again officially opened the Beer Festival at The Muni in Colne and offered the beer-drinking public of the area the chance to sample 168 different brews.
Once again the Pendle Beer Festival is raising money for the Pendlside Hospice and fund-raiser Christina Cope thanked the organisers for their £6,500 donation last year and said she hoped that a similar sum would be raised this time around.
