Treat in store for model rail fans as exhibition opens in Padiham

MODEL railway enthusiasts will be steaming towards Padiham when the now annual exhibition is staged in the schoolrooms at the Nazareth Unitarian Church.

It takes place on Saturday, November 5th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year the ever-popular large layout by the Gauge 1 society of “live” steam radio-controlled locos has been expanded again, making a most impressive display.

There will also be N gauge with a special layout featuring the Japanese Bullet train, O gauge and much much more. A number of trade stands will also be at the exhibition, selling everything for the model railway enthusiast.

Homemade refreshments will be available throughout the day and admission costs £3 for adults and £1.50 for accompanied children. For details call 01282 773336.
