Travel Review: Miminalist Jacket by Marmot

ITS bright and its trendy, but to a three-year-old, I looked like a pea!

Flora loved my new coat, but she was dazzled by its beauty and was so impressed by its colour, she did try to see if I was a real vegetable (have still got the nibble mark!) For the less gregarious, there is a range of other eye-catching colours.

Once she had got over the shock, Flora embraced this wonderful jacket and so did I. What better to have in the unpredictable weather of Scotland. Not only was it dry, thanks to the Gore-tex paclite waterproof and breathable barrier inside the jacket and the 100 per cent seam tape, it had an adjustable hood, cuffs and chin guard to keep the worst weather out, zippered hand pockets for convenience and special angel motion to make sure the jacket does not ride up just when you don’t want it to. In short, it’s a real winner in the weather and fashion stakes!
