Discover Dubai as a holiday destination: Clitheroe info evening

Colette Byrne, a personal travel advisor with Co-operative Travel, was inspired to organise the event after winning a trip to Dubai. She has teamed up with some of Dubai’s leading tourism businesses, including The Jebel Ali Hotel, Emirate Airways and specialist tour operator Gold Medal Pure Luxury, to host the event on Monday, May 14th, at the Villa in Whalley Road, Clitheroe, from 6-30 to 9-30 p.m.

Canapés, Prosecco and wine will be served throughout the evening and there will be special promotions up for grabs, while Dubai specialists will also be on hand to answer questions.

Colette, who has lived in Clitheroe for more than 20 years and specialises in ski, cruise, luxury and tailor-made holidays, said: “I was one of just four travel agents from the UK to win the trip to Dubai, so I felt very privileged to be chosen. I’m now looking forward to sharing all my knowledge and experience with my customers.

“Dubai is mainly viewed as a couples’ destination, but there’s lots on offer for families too. We went to a family water park, took a desert safari as well as looking out over the city from the observation lounge at the top of the tallest tower in the world!

“I’m looking forward to welcoming families, new and existing customers to the event. They’ve proved really popular in the past and I’m confident this will be the same.”
