The illegal phone-hacking scandal has rocked the media world over recent days, leading to the closure of the News of the World newspaper.
But was the popular newspaper’s closure really necessary or just a knee-jerk reaction of Rupert Murdoch’s media empire?
Were the phone hacking issues in the paper’s past and the current journalists made scapegoats - or were dodgy practices still at the very heart of the newsroom?
