Flats plan for former Burnley pub

The Cattle Market, which is situated across from Burnley Police Station, closed its doors earlier this year.
The property, which is currently owned by Admiral Taverns, has been on the market since its closure at an asking price of £125,000, but there has been very little interest in reopening it as a pub.

Now, AJP Surveyors have earmarked the property and plan to sub-divide it into smaller residential units.
If the plans are accepted by councillors, the property will be divided into six ground floor and first floor flats, two of which will have entrances off the street, and the rest will be reached by a central lobby in the back yard.
