It's been another difficult year for Burnley's hospitality sector, with a number of pubs and bars closing their doors as the pressures facing the industry continue to mount.
And this week brought more disappointing news, with the former Queen Hotel in Cliviger looking set to be converted into housing, just a few months after the Loom Bar in Burnley town centre closed its doors.
There was also news that Lee Wright, the popular landlord of the Hapton Inn, is stepping away after soaring food and energy costs made running the business increasingly difficult. Thankfully, the pub itself will continue operating, but his departure is another reminder of the challenges facing those working in hospitality.
From rising running costs to changing drinking habits, the pressures facing the industry show little sign of easing. And while many local businesses continue to battle on, others have sadly called time.
Over the years, Burnley and the surrounding areas have lost countless pubs and bars, many of which were once at the heart of their communities.
With that in mind, we've taken another look through the archives at some of the pubs and bars that have disappeared from Burnley's hospitality scene. How many do you remember?
